There was a little girl who had a little curl
Right in the middle of her forehead;
When she was good, she was very, very good,
And when she was bad she was horrid.
Last night we were visiting w/ family. All the kids were playing outside - such a lovely night with great weather and LOTS and LOTS of treats! My dad made homemade popcorn and my mom brought out the candy bowl. Yes - it's real. We've had it since I was little ... and it's much coveted. And loved. While the adults were enjoying the candy bowl (and the MUCH too hot popcorn that burned 4 of my fingers ... which in turn made some words ACCIDENTALLY come out of my mouth ... that in turn made the kids that were at the table LAUGH HYSTERICALLY!!!) we heard little baby maby huffing and puffing outside. Anger brewing. She had her arms folded and some SERIOUS business to tell us about. She came BUSTING in the door, explaining that "Juweeah said NO maby you CAN'T do that ... and I am SO mad at her ... and she is WUUUDE!" Well - all we could focus on was her little three year old folded arms, and this little curl smack in the middle of her forehead. And when she was done ... we laughed. Because it was DARLING! And then Lisa (my sister ... www.blueandshoe.blogspot.com) started repeating this poem. And it was SO perfect!
This morning she woke up with the same curly hair and I had to snatch one little picture to remember it. She loved it. And it took 4 seconds. It was raining ... so we had to be fast. Ohh this little face. That little curl. Those moon shaped eyes - just like me.
No baby yet. Just in case you were wondering. But some random thoughts that are bugging me .... why does Caillou NOT have hair STILL? And how did Rosie end up with TONS of it? And why doesn't his mom wear something else??? And why can't I build a red, yellow and blue colored house? You all KNOW I would love it!!!
Ahahahaha! So perfect! The answer to your questions are as follows: Caillou shaves every day, because he started receding at an early age, lives in my ward boundaries and chose to follow the trend. Either that, or he's recovering from Chemo, and don't you feel badly about how you've judged him now? I know. Me too. You CAN build a red, white and blue house. Blue hardy plank, white trim and red door. Rosie is a hoarder and her mom has to make up for how much money Rosie spends, so she only has one outfit. But she's clean, so she washes it daily. Anything else I can help you with, just ask. Except for cleaning up the after birth. Then you're on your own. :) Love you!

You know in first grade we got to come as a character from a nursery rhyme and guess who I came as... though Mable's curl is is much cuter than mine was. That girl hold a key to my heart! Attitude and everything! I bet it is nice to spend some time together during the day before baby comes. The booth pic's are precious! We'll keep checking to hear the news. Everyday I think... is Kara having her baby today?
