of... THE DAY! ;0) I must say - it went rather well - considering I wanted to cry more than my boy did on his first day of Kindergarten. It's SO strange to me that he's at that age. I remember Kindergarten. I remember my teacher was Mrs. Nelson and that RUSELL kissed me on my EAR while I was playing on the big toy. I was SOOOO disgusted that I RAN home and scrubbed my ear for what seemed like days! SOOO funny that it's THAT fresh in my mind. And that's where HE is at in life! His teacher was rather smart - had the kids line up and she told us not to come in with them - kind of like a "clean break". ;0) I was taking lots of pictures - soaking it all in - and then took my eyes off him for a split second while I checked on my girls on the grass. As I looked back up... SHE HAD ALREADY TAKEN THEM IN!!!!!!! WHAT??? Where was MY moment of goodbye? Where was MY moment of waving until I could no longer see him? Ummmmm... can you tell where my little girl gets her drama from? He loved the whole day - even planned his outfit for day #2 on the way home.
When he got home, I was helping him change out of his clothes and I noticed his white shirt underneath was buttoned wrong... so the whole day it was off. nice. I love his little "studious" look. It's so him - and not that he tries to do that - it's just him waiting patiently for me to take the pictures.
I loooove this picture. It's like this CRAZY day of lined up kids while their parents look on.
NOW... for more...
My darling friend Cheridan stopped by on Thursday. We went to high school together. I love Cheridan - she is a fantastic friend. She brought her 9 month belly with her. And let me say - it is a beautiful belly! So, of course, I got my camera out! While she was here - she noticed some SERIOUS contractions... and 24 hours later, her FIFTH boy was born.
Funny thing about this last image - notice her hands... and how they're in a "mork and mindy" style? She did that for EVERY picture that was ever taken in high school. Kind of her trade mark. SOOO glad she kept it up!
Pictures of her little guy to come this week. Ohhhh so happy for her!
That nine month belly is not very big!!!! Just let her know she is going to LOVE having FIVE boys!!! The dirt the noise!!! Ahhhh.... so much fun! And I'm not being sarcastic here. I LOVE LOVE LOVE having five boys of my own!
And look how handsome your little man is!!! SO grown up too! Go ahead and shed your tears. He'll be wearing that missionary badge before you know it!

Cute boy! His outfit is so cute too! It's funny how ready some kids are for school! I saw a mom this week dragging her daughter just crying into school. It was really sad. I almost started crying and I didn't even know them! Cheridan's belly pics are so cool! I really like them! Did she do the hand thing on purpose or does she just do it without thinking now? That makes me laugh!

Your son looks SO handsome!! We are going to have to hook him up with Savannah. Your kids are too cute! It's funny to see the Utah version of Mom's watching their Kindergarteners. Your Moms are much younger and have WAY more kids with them compared to the old Nevada Moms with 1, maybe 2 kids.
