I had a great 4th of July! We have a family tradition of getting together at my uncle's farm in Weston, ID (20 min. from Preston - where Napoleon Dynamite was filmed). We see every cousin that ever walked the earth - and enjoy relaxing. I don't think I saw my older two kids the entire day! The kids LOVE it! We love it! I have this darling cousin who lives in CHINA. Yes, China. She's lived there for 3 years - and she was finally able to come visit this year. While we were reminiscing, I noticed my uncle's back steps ... they were this FUNKY blue! My cute cousin said something about always hating those steps. But MY mind was like WOW - now THAT is a great place for a picture! So I grabbed her son (who happens to be a model there) and had a hay day.
It was a very tricky spot because the only light source is at the top of the stairs. Otherwise it's pitch black.
I loooove how messy his face was. The kids don't eat one ounce of nutrition the entire day. SO fun for them!
And because you've asked... here is our family picture the day of our baby's blessing. It was a LOVELY day. I still need to take her pictures in the dress - but it will need to be ironed again. ;0). I hired a lady to tat a hat and shoes for her. SOOOOO lovely!
More images to come. I have two shoots tomorrow and another 10 mo. old coming up next week. Ohhh how I love that age.
